Soso is loving school. He didn't get to celebrate with lunch at Pizza Hut, like some of his classmates, but that's what happens when you are #6. He is doing well coloring, playing soccer on the playground, and raising his hand. If it has been a while since you have experienced kindergarten those are really the most important things to learn. He also brought up at lunch that you aren't supposed to tattle.
Everyone else had a great first day as well. Lots of positive comments on their teachers. They do have a plethora of great teachers this year. Mrs Jordan, Mrs. Sawyer, Mr. Kohl, well I could go on, but they are wonderful. I think we are going to have happy campers for the next 9 months. Mads and Bk start volleyball this afternoon, Bk has to try out for the team so we will see how it goes.
I have had several people ask me in the last couple of weeks if we homeschool. I'm not sure why they ask, it makes me wonder.... I know one lady was just floored that we could afford to send all of our kids to private school. I let her in on our secret, Logos gives a tuition discount for multiple children. Yes, it is still a significant cost, but really, for what we get it is so amazing. I know people who pay more for daycare than we pay for tuition. It is a blessing that we don't pay the full price for everybody, but I hope to be able to make contributions in other ways. For now we are thankful, and hopefully the kids are representing the school well. Go Knights!
