A picture is not really necessary, but I thought it might give me additional motivation. My friend Kelly is starting a running group, to get us all motivated for Bloomsday. I did Bloomsday last year with the big girls and my Dad. We had good time, and set a standard to beat. I really do not enjoy running. I used to. It just isn't the same when you haven't done it for a long time, and I'm really not as young as I used to be. It is good for me though, and I have several good friends that are runners. Once Kelly got us all up and thinking about it, I think it will be fun.
My sister-in-law and I are also trying to figure out how to do it as a fundraiser for AHOPE. The glow on my arm is not a special power pac, it is my ipod. I was listening to a fabulous sermon on difficult relationships, and no I didn't have anyone special in mind. I did laugh out loud when he suggested that someone in the crowd might have me in mind. So many good reasons to get out the door and move a little faster than normal, and now it is public so I can't wimp out.
