Wii love it!

What to do with our Christmas money? We had planned to buy a trampoline, which all of the kids were really excited about, but since the back yard will be a mud pit for a couple of months we decided on a wii. We talked about getting one last year, in fact it was in my notes to self for this Christmas, but the kids didn't seem that excited about it. Our friends the Qualls got one for Christmas and the kids got to play with it. We decided for this winter it was the way to go.
So a week ago I ordered it from Amazon. I tried to erase the unpleasant memory of seeing it at Costco for $100 less, and not buying it. Last night when the UPS man showed up at our door at 6:10 the kids all came barreling up the stairs. I had told them it was scheduled to arrive today via UPS and that we had to be home to sign for it. K-man was the dawdler after school yesterday and boy, did he get an earful. "If they tried to deliver the Wii while we were waiting for you, we are going to have to wait another day...." It was brutal. As you can see waiting is still a virtue God is instilling in us. We had started to give up hope, when the doorbell rang. So we swing open the door and confront the UPS man with 9 big smiles, "We have been waiting for you all day."
"Really?"
"Yes, WWWOOOOHOOOOO!!!!"
I'm not sure he knew what to think. He may never come back who knows? I did manage to get everyone to sit down to dinner before we got it all set up. As I type Rick and Soso are downstairs bowling. It is Soso's special day, and what could be more special than a bowling date with Dad?
Thanks Grandpa Sellers for the Christmas gift!! Wii love it.

I can only imagine how excited your kids are. I got to play a Wii for the first time this weekend. We can't have one because I will end up maiming the children. Those things are dangerous!
