Last Post from the US

We leave on Sunday for ET. I need to get the kids settled in with Grandpa, packed for their different stays, and make sure I have all of the paperwork we need to take with us. I am getting really excited to see places I have never seen, and to hold my son for the first time. I am so praying that he will be okay with a hug.

Bronster had a play at school this morning. She was Cassiopeia. She did a fine job of being a haughty queen. My kids do that role well, I think that is good? Two of the kids will be missing the next three weeks of school, so I needed to touch base with their teachers to make sure they weren't a whole grade behind when we return. I am all about life experience, so I think they will be fine. I was most concerned about my kindergartner, but his teacher thinks he is doing just fine. She assured me he was on track to go on to first grade. We were sort of planning on him taking another spin at kindergarten, but I trust her judgement. He is just happy to be there, wherever that is.

My three year old was headed out to do her yoga class on the Wii, and stuck the disc in before ejecting the other disc. This is bad. I hope the troubleshooters saw this one coming, if not I am prepared for bitter lamentation. I know, when compared to starvation this is really petty, but I have a couple of kids that might have to think about that one.

Lord willing I will send a post from ET. One of the families waiting for their waiver got it back in four days, that is nothing short of miraculous. I am praying for that to happen to us, then we could all travel back together. I am also very hopeful that we will get to see N's best friend at the airport on our return. I talked to his Mom and she is willing to give it a try, I love this woman and could not be more grateful that we have these two amazing boys. I trust this trip to the Lord, and pray that he will be glorified in it. I'll be back in a couple of weeks!

My prayers are all going out to you. Don't worry, Nesradine is a lover. He loves hugs and cuddling. I think you will be overwhelmed in a positive way on how much love he can pour on you.

What a miracle if your waiver makes it that fast.

Really praying that we will get to meet up but i know how traveling works and exhaustion. It will be in God's hand and you will know if you are up to it or not. But if you can I will be there at a moment's notice.

So glad you got all your kids at home taken care off. That must be a big worry off your shoulder.

Be safe my friend.
