Clearing up

I wanted to post some pictures of flowers. Something along the lines of April showers bring May flowers. Clearly I need to do some reorganizing with my pictures. I know that at some point in my life I have taken pictures of flowers. So, instead we will go with the beautiful view from my Mom's living room. I hope that we will get over there this summer.

Today was a typical Monday. I started the laundry, and got the kitchen cleaned up. I went to call my friend Roxanne, but realized that her number is in my cell phone. On the hunt for my cell phone, my friend Heather stopped by. We chatted for a bit, and then headed to school to pick up our mid-day departures. My husband and I had a meeting with our school's board. Nothing to be alarmed about they aren't ready to throw us out, they were just checking in with families to see what we love, what we don't love so much. It was interesting. Heather kept our little kids at the McDonald's playland. When we got back they were all pink cheeked and happy. Halfway back home they decided that they had somehow forgotten to eat lunch. I did buy them food, they just found the red and yellow plastic tubes much more interesting. We snacked, picked up the rest of the bunch did the after school rounds and headed home for dinner.

I interrogated everyone as to where my phone could have disappeared to. No one claimed any responsibility. The hubby started calling and wandering around the house. At one point he could hear it, but couldn't figure out where it was. I finally found it open, with my bluetooth, under my bed. Suddenly the mysterious extra charges on my bill are making more sense. Helen has been spending more time on my cell phone than I have. Any of you who may have gotten mysterious calls from my phone, I apologize. It is now safely stowed out of reach.

The sunset, can represent the end of the storm. The clouds are moving out and we are looking forward to sunny days ahead. Warm sunny days would be wonderful, but we will settle for sun.

Family Life...what an appropriate category for logging days like these. Typical days where extraordinary events shape the mundane and somehow this little post reminded me of the book of Ecclesiates and made me smile :-).
