A friend made the comment to me that these are the long days and short years. The end of the school year always brings that home to me. Today Mads finished her last two finals, thus ending the school year for us. The kids all did great. Someone asked me how many hours I spent doing school work with the kids, I had to confess I don't do much. I edit papers, and occasionally quiz them for tests, but that is it. God has been good to my kids and they do a great job with minimal help. Logos has also been a wonderful part of our lives. All of the kids are at the same school, with the same teachers. We start to see familiar projects year after year.
With a summer schedule comes adjustments in routines. Nes is following K-man around like a shadow. It is good for K-man to have someone that thinks he is so great. It can cramp his style, but that is what younger sibling are for. We have a couple of weeks of no scheduled events, then baseball, gymnastics, the pool, and DRIVER'S ED! I am so excited about Mads driving I can hardly contain myself. I'm ready to take her out and celebrate and she hasn't even gotten her permit yet. Oh, the joys of parenthood. I love to see the kids growing up, doing new things, enjoying each other and growing in grace. The weather has also taken a turn for the better, so life is good.

Hey Sig,
Reading this post made me sad and happy. I can't believe the kids are growing up and I am missing all of it. Mads is becoming so mature and the rest of the kids are really showing who they are. I miss it all so much.
Love you all!
Esa
