I had a very happy Mother's Day yesterday. I have been suggesting to my husband for two years that we paint some of our interior walls. He's position was that we bought a new house so that we wouldn't have to work on house projects, and painting was a house project. For the record every house has house projects, so if you are in an old house thinking new is less work, don't do it! I had a friend come and help me pick out some colors, so I was all ready. He decided painting a wall for Mother's Day would be easier than shopping so he did it. We all love it. We stand in our hallway and oohh, ahhh, it is lovely. My hubby is so good to me.
We had brunch with friends at their very fun home. They have chicks, and cows, and tractors, and trees to climb, it is pretty much heaven, except that they can't grow oranges. Nesradine had a great time holding chicks and riding the tractor. He wasn't so sure at first, but he got into it by the end of the day. It was very nice. Rick's Mom asked Mads what she did for me for Mother's Day. She looked at me, and said "What did I do for you for Mother's Day?" I smiled and told her she was my daughter and that was really enough. Bronster made me breakfast in bed, she gets the atta girl award.

So happy you had a really good Mother's Day. I just love the new color you have picked. I just envy you and Lisa every time I see you all in a country picture like your husband on the riding mower. Hopefully one day. I keep trying to convince my husband to move to Moscow but he won't go for it just yet.
Like the wall color Signe! Looks like you had a great Mother's Day:)
Love the wall color! Go Dad!
