Since school is out and we had a few extra kids around, we got into quite a discussion of allergies. These are the priceless conversations I miss during the school year. The neighbor boys were telling tales of when their little brother eats more corn than he should. Then one of them pipes up with "I'm allergic to dirty underwear..." I'm sure you can imagine where things went from there. I told him I would try to forget this conversation before he is a senior in high school. Ah, the blessings of living in a small town where everyone knows everyone, and you graduate with kids you went to kindergarten with. The odds of me forgetting are good, which will be a blessing to him.
I found this on my camera while I was downloading Soso's picture. I think they were testing out the timing feature on the camera, so we could take a family picture for our post placement report. It is still amazing to me how completely Nes fits in our family. How could I have known that God was making a place for him here, before I had any idea that we needed him? Our family is being remade into something I had never dreamed of, and it is so much better.

I promise never again to say, "Hey, go out and play the pasture - the grass is really tall!" Poor Soso, he looked miserable and I could see the hives popping up before my eyes.
Miss E. and Boo had a great time at my house and were quite low maintenance - although they did change their clothes multiple times before finally settling on swimsuits.
