Summertime

I have noticed that the family blogs seem to slow way down in the summer. Mine is no exception. It isn't that we are all sitting around staring at each other, we are out and about doing all kinds of things. I also have to share my computer with several other people who are usually gone for several hours. Sitting at the computer doesn't happen as often and when it does, I get distracted with email and forget to blog.

Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.

We bought a trampoline at the beginning of the summer. We have spent many hours jumping, and several nights sleeping on it.

We had a couple of cousins over for a week. We played a lot of baseball, and kept them hopping.

We wrapped up the LAX season with a loss in the championship game. It was 6-5 and a very fun game to watch.

We dropped in at my friend Denise's house. She was very gracious and had an impromptu bbq for all of us and a few other friends from high school that I hadn't seen in fifteen years. It was a lot of fun, and the kids all got along really well.

We only have a few weeks left of summer. I have already began to gather the school supplies and tracking down uniforms. Sports seasons for schools are starting soon. The hot weather is great, but I will be ready for football, cross country, and homework.
