Either blogger has changed the way it lets you format pictures, or I have forgotten a step somewhere, but this is not the order I wanted the pictures in. Since I am too inept to figure out how to change it, you will have to bear with me. The following picture is of my now, non-existent steps. This is progress. I am hoping this means that sometime in the nearish future they will be able to pour the new steps. It took them two weeks and many different tools to break the old ones apart. It has been loads of entertainment for the kids, and all kinds of humbling for me, since all our visitors must enter through the garage.

This was the last tool needed to break apart the steps. I was quite relieved since Rick was suggesting dynamite.

Here is Nes all dressed up and ready to go to pre-school. I did wipe off the moostash before I dropped him off. In fine male style he gave us no reports on how things went or who he played with. He did say he would like to go back, so I will take that as a positive report.

We are working on our dental hygiene. The big girls have moved into the upstairs bedroom which means they have to share a bathroom with the boys. That alone would have kept me downstairs, but they were willing to live with it.

BK enjoying ice cream cake, itunes gift cards, and Omega's leftover toys. She is the sweetest thirteen year old that I know.
That wraps up the first week of school, and BK's birthday. The coming week is filling up quickly. I have one cross-country runner, one volleyball player, and six trampoline stunt people. We are getting back into the school groove, and the homework is starting to roll in. I'm excited about some of the older girl's classes, I wish I would have taken my academic career a little more seriously. If only I had known then what I know now.

I have to agree that my BK is the sweetest 13yo I know too.
Nes looks so mature and grown up in that picture, I love it. I can't believe nobody has gotten injured without the steps.
