Our dossier has left the country! This means that the adoption process begins in Ethiopia. The courts are closed until October, so not much will happen for a while. It is sort of like being 20 weeks pregnant, things don't feel too much different, but things are still happening. I expect the process to take longer this time than last time, but I am praying that we will be able to start sending letters and pictures. I am hoping she will get her welcome bag while there are still people in Ethiopia that I know.
The Ethiopian New Year was on Sept. 11. Here is a fun post about how the kids celebrated the holiday. We donated money for a sheep, maybe next year we will slaughter one in the back yard. That would get the neighbors excited. Maybe we will just have lamb chops with Berberi

Ahhh! You're ahead of us! :)
I'm so excited for you guys and am excited to follow your journey as the day gets closer.
I think this time around the waiting will be so much easier too because Nes is already here. Plus you don't have to deal with court closure coming up. When I picked up my kids I had to deal with the Sheep. It was so digusting. Are you serious about your back yard. You know my sense of humor is weak!
I'm so excited! I remember how I felt when our dossier was mailed. I actually tracked it through the courier service. OCD, yep.
