Somehow we got on the topic of where the children were going to go to college. K-man piped up with: "somewhere in Seattle." I asked him why, and he answered, "because I will be playing for the Mariners."
I keep trying to explain to him that it isn't that easy. His sister pointed out that you don't play pro-baseball while you are in college, so if he was playing baseball in college in Seattle he would have to be a Husky. Around our house that is a serious bad thing. He looked at me and asked where he should play baseball in college. I told him WSU had a good team, as well as LCSC. He came back with, "Ya, and then if I run out of money, I'll be close to home."
He's got a way to go in his baseball skills, and life skills before he is ready for college. We will have to keep working on this.
