I just got the email from Erin that we have passed court. I am so happy. I just wish I could hug my daughter and celebrate with her, but I will continue to pray for her and pack her bag. I don't know when we will travel yet, but I do know that it will be after the waiver is lifted.
A friend that has met her told me that she likes to do crafty things in Ethiopian flag colors. I am on the hunt for an Ethiopian flag, I will probably pick one up while we are there. Picking up an older child will be much different than picking up a toddler. She will miss her home much more than Nes did. My friend also shared a story about the girls traveling and being stopped by some camels crossing the road. They were surprised that she found this photo worthy. She told them that the only camels in America are in zoos. They were sad to think they were going to a land with no camels. It is sad, but I am hoping moose will be new and exciting.
Please continue to pray for our travel. I am really hoping that my friend and her daughter will be able to come with us. It sounds like Jubilee's friends are very important to her, which is very good. At the very least I will be able to take her pictures of her friends that are already in America. God continues to bless us beyond measure.

Congrats!!! So happy for you guys and your newest daughter. What a great day!
Yeahhhhh, so happy for you. I can't believe it. Time will fly now until you pick her up. Sorry for leaving that dorky reply message to all today. That was a mistake.
Great news!! Congratulations!!
Congratulations! How exciting.
The kids at big AHOPE are very patriotic Ethiopians! When I was volunteering there last year, I organized a craft project where the kids could paint and decorate their own canvas satchels. Many of the kids choose to paint the Ethiopian flag, or flag colors, or AHOPE on their bags. So cute.
I can't wait to see Jubilee's picture (if you'll be posting it).
That is wonderful! Time to start packing.
