Family Life

Jubilee is doing well. She is discovering new foods, and seeing all kinds of doctors. She has had an eye exam, she goes to the dentist today, and next week to Seattle. Both of my Ethiopian kids love tuna sandwiches. Who would have guessed. She loves fancy clothes, and is getting used to the fact that sandals don't wear well in Idaho in January. Things are going well, and she is even starting to talk more.

Bronster rolled her ankle in gymnastics last night. She hopped to school this morning, sporting a very unhappy look. I told her she didn't have to move from her desk if she didn't want to, but she WAS going to school. It takes her out of her meet in Boise this weekend, and next week's meet in questionable. Those darn beam dismounts.

Omega and Nes have become Mario Kart experts and have taken to adding their own twists to the game. Yesterday I went to see how they were doing and they were in this position. Grandpa made them do jumping jacks before he let them play, so we are getting some exercise in with our games. The sun is finally out today which will make walking more fun. I felt like I flew into a fog bank in San Francisco last Thursday and never reemerged. Life is good.

My kids love tuna too. Weird. They also love all kinds of salads. My other 2 never at that stuff. They also love marshmallows and Amira wants them with everything. I am so happy M. is settling in. What a sweet young lady.
