Loving Neighbors in Haiti

I know I plug this blog regularly, but it is because I really believe in what they are doing, and honestly I wish I were doing it too. I am not on their payroll. They are real people serving in the real world doing what Jesus would do and being themselves all at the same time. I have been reading their blog for a couple of years, when I saw the CNN report about the earthquake in Haiti, they were the first thing I thought of. I prayed for them the entire day. God has been abundantly kind to them through this tragedy, and I am so grateful to be able to read about what is happening in Haiti from someone who sees it through His eyes.

Today Tara posted about UNICEF and it's role in serving Haiti. It is a great post and it is one more reason why I believe that people like the Livesay's need our support. The US can pour all kinds of money into all kinds of service organizations, but the most effective support is regular people in the US supporting regular people in Haiti to love their neighbors.
