Fall Carnival 2008

The fourth annual Fall Carnival happened in our sweet little college town. As a thank you to the community, the NSA students host a carnival for families every fall. There are lots of great costumes, fun booths, free chili and cornbread, and loads of candy. The costumes were really creative. I didn't get pictures of the winners, there were way too many distractions. But I caught a couple of fun ones. There were two twin babies as thing one and thing two, a couple of very cute peacocks, and an incredible hulk. Our neighbors won the group division as a swarm of bees, with a bee keeper, and their little sister as a flower. Yeah, I don't really do costumes, but I love what everyone else came up with. The hulk even gave a big flex when they announced that he won.

This is one of our coffee girls. I took this picture especially for our coffee girl that has gone abroad for a time. We miss you!

Dad and Soso enjoying a bowl of free chili. One of the girls won a pie.

Soso's favorite. How many pictures will this blog have of Soso with a face full of cotton candy?

The end total for free desserts was two pies from the pie walk, and a cake from the Logos sophomore cake raffle. We will be having pie for breakfast.
