Lovin' Fall

This weekend has been just incredible as far as weather. One of the rites of passage at Logos School kindergarten is getting a paper bag in October and filling it up with leaves. I have to say that Mrs. Sawyer is outstanding. Soso is our fourth little one to have her for kindergarten, so by now we have the routine down. This afternoon Dad took E and Soso for a walk around campus to find leaves to take to school. College campuses are great places to find leaves in the fall. Our neighborhood is only a few years old, so our trees are too wimpy to have good leaves. Here is a picture of Soso with his booty.

Yesterday the Cougs played USC at Martin Stadium. I won't mention the score, but let's just say that we drove by an intramural game, and I'm pretty sure the QB was better than whatever our 6th string guy's name is. We also broke a 24 year record of not being shut out. But it was a beautiful day for football! Rick went with a friend, thanks Ed! I stayed home with the wild bunch and we had friends over for the afternoon.

Today after church, we headed back over to Pullman to watch the Volleyball team lose to Oregon. I hate losing to the ducks, but you'd think I'd get used to it. I really like college volleyball. It is fast paced, exciting, and short. You don't lose the whole day at some silly sporting event. That's what I like about basketball too. Plus, it is indoors, and the kids can eat popcorn and licorice. The other bonus is, at the women's events you get to win t-shirts and take pictures with Butch. I forgot my camera, but it was Butch's birthday today, Happy Birthday Butch!
