Momma's Boy

We have had to have several conversations with my son about why he can't marry his Mom. It is sweet, and kind of funny. He just can't quite wrap his mind around wanting to marry some other woman. I know that he will grow out of it, and sooner than I think.

Someday he will forget to call me for weeks because some other woman has occupied his mind. He will say insensitive things about the way I do things because miss right does it better. I hope that I remember when that day comes that this is the way it should be. I am raising him to be someone else's husband. I need to teach him to love and to protect the women in his life so that he will do those things for someone else. I am enjoying giving him back rubs and hugs for it will all fly by.
