Thank you Thank you Andrea

My dear friend, whom I have yet to meet, but I love none the less, got to meet my son's Mom. Wow. N does have a living mother, and now I have pictures of her. She is beautiful. She came to court but did not have some documentation that she needed. She came with her best friend whose son Andrea has adopted.

In God's kindness N's best friend will live only six hours away. We will be able to keep in touch and these boys who now have families half way around the world will still be able to grow up knowing each other. It broke my heart to hear that N refused to eat for two days after his friend left. I knew he would have a hard time with that. Lord willing in a few months these two little guys will be able to play together again.

International adoption is a wild journey. I have met people that I would never have met. I am learning about the world in new and challenging ways. The people that I consider my people is a growing circle that I never would have expected. Thank you Andrea, for giving me this peep into N's life.

Your post brought tears to my eyes. That is so true and that is one thing I kept telling N's mom via translation that our boys will be best friends forever because we can keep up their friendship so easily by being to close together. I am so glad I brought some joy to your life through these hard times of waiting because I just know how you feel. Lets plan for a summer visit of our boys really soon and the latest will surely be the REACH camp if anything.

Lots of Love
