A full weekend
Family Night at Safeco Field
Bloomsday Finishers
Welcome Nesradine Shower
The weather was springy this weekend, and we made the most of it. Rick took a big group of kids to Seattle for baseball and a dentist appointment. They had a great time, and really great weather. They made it back home on Saturday. On Sunday the big girls, grandpa and I ran Bloomsday. We wore our AHOPE t-shirts which was good, we were easier to find that way. I finished in 2 hours, and Mads and BK finished in 1:20. We all had a great day. About the time we got home, UB and Rachel showed up. We had a welcome Nes shower on Monday. I told him it would be like his birthday. He lit up and said "Me, happy birthday?" It was actually even better. It was fun to go to a shower where the guest of honor got to open the presents and was really thrilled. He got home and showed Dad all of his gifts. It was a really full, and lovely weekend.
That is so awesome. I can't believe you and Lisa still run like that. I wished I could live there and join you guys. I also totally spaced on the Seattle baseball trip. I bet that was so much fun. Can't wait to see you again.
