The kids had a great time at the Mariners game. The last batter got 14 pitches, and they won.
They arrived at the game two hours early. They went down and watched the batters practice. They were throwing balls up to the spectators. K-man and another boy were trying to get the ball. The security guy said he would give it to the one who could answer the question correctly. He asked them what the life of a baseball is, how many pitches? K-man thought for a minute and answered five. So the guy threw him the ball.
I was shocked. I asked him how he knew. He said, "Well UB usually wrecks the ball after 10 and he is half as good as these guys." Brilliant.
