Travel Date

We have been given an embassy appointment on January 13. I am so excited to be getting ready to go back to Ethiopia. Honeybee wants to stay for months, but we decided two weeks would have to do. We are hoping to pack in some travel, and visits with people in Ethiopia. It is nice that I have been there and know what to expect and what I need to bring with me, and more importantly what I can leave at home.

We are planning to stay for two weeks. We may still have to have the waiver for Jubilee's visa. It is supposed to be unnecessary after Jan. 4, but apparently the embassy has not been given official notice. Government, go figure. I am actually excited to have the extra time. I think the girls are going to have a lot of fun, and the time will slip away too quickly.

A little over three weeks and off we go. Rick is staying home this time to keep the troops in order. My wonder Dad is going to come provide moral support and pre-schooler supervision, and hopefully, cooking help. Two weeks of PB&J might get old. Of course, it will make my arrival back that much more glorious. What a wonderful Christmas gift, and birthday present. A trip to Ethiopia and a wonderful daughter, God is indeed good.

Honeybee is beside herself with excitement. What more could a girl want?: Christmas, a super fun family trip, and then a journey back to Ethiopia. She is blessed! Thank you for taking her along.

Hooray! We are so very, very happy for you!! Thank you for being the trailblazers for us in this new "no-waiver" era. We will be praying that things go smoothly and that two weeks will be the perfect amount of time for you all! Please give Z lots of hugs for us. :)
