There goes my baby, on her own, with her brand spanking new driver's license. Unbelievable. My dear friend prayed that she would see this as opportunity to serve and not as a path to freedom. I know there will be conversations about where she is going and what she is doing. I hope that I see this as an opportunity to give her some responsibility without making her feel like a slave. I am so happy to have another person that is able to run to the store, run to a friend's house, drive themselves to track practice, oh the joy! She can even help drive us to the beach for spring break tomorrow.

She's Off...
There goes my baby, on her own, with her brand spanking new driver's license. Unbelievable. My dear friend prayed that she would see this as opportunity to serve and not as a path to freedom. I know there will be conversations about where she is going and what she is doing. I hope that I see this as an opportunity to give her some responsibility without making her feel like a slave. Wow, please tell her congratulations. Your friend was right. You can't even begin to imagine the extra freedom you will have.
