First Day of School

It is that time of year again.  I am sitting at my computer with no one but Kiki wanting my attention.  I got everyone organized last night.  They had things disorganized several times before we actually got into the van, but I think everything that needed to get to school did.  Mads and BK had cross country practice at 6:45 so they headed out early not looking very scholarly.  I did see them before class, they cleaned up well.

Nectarine and Jalapeno sit next to each other in class.  Nes, was a little off, but I gave him a smooch after the assembly and I think he will be fine.  He looked awfully spiffy in his tie.  Jubilee was much calmer than I had expected, but things are much more familiar for her now.  I am going in to help with reading this morning, so I will see how she is doing.  There were some new students in her class, and one was also from Africa, so she will get to welcome her.

It is nice to have some routine back to our days.  Reasonable bedtimes will be in order and activities will be more regular.  I do have to take Jubilee to Seattle the end of this week, so she will get a little break.  She gets to visit her friends on the west side which will be a special treat.  Welcome back school year, I have missed you.
