What does the Vice President do exactly? It would seem from the media coverage that the job of the Vice President is to say and do stupid things to keep the late night comedians going. Look at Dan Quail and Dick Cheney. The only things any of us heard about them were that they couldn't spell, and they couldn't aim.
If that is the job of the Vice President then I think that Sarah Palin is doing a darn fine job. The Yahoo homepage said that SNL's ratings are way up since Tina Faye started impersonating her. I have watched a couple of spoofs on you tube and they are pretty funny. Actually, Hilary probably should have been the Democrats pick. She is way funnier to impersonate than Biden.
I know I'm stretching in my political analysis, but sometimes you just have to laugh, or else you would cry.

I was a little sad to see the Bush Administration go. I mean, you can't beat some of the Bush and Rumsfeld spoofs out there. How was I going to laugh again?
Then Sarah Palin came along and my faith in SNL was restored. What are we going to do when she loses? Biden is so boring that he can't even be spoofed in an hilarious manner.
I was just watching the SNL spoofs over and over again last night and thinking the same thing. :) Sometimes I'm pretty sure you read my mind when you blog.
