The Joy of Giving

I bought season tickets to the WSU basketball games for my husband. We have talked about buying them the last couple of years. Our daughter's class cleans the Coliseum after three of the home games so, I figured if we had to clean up we should at least get to enjoy the game. When I went to buy tickets for those games, I decided it was more cost-effective to just get season tickets for the family. Rick was very happy. This is my Christmas gift to him, and I have to say he has liked more than any tie I could have found.

Today at coffee one of my friends was talking about how her husband was making plans to watch the WSU vs. Gonzaga game. It sounded like he was really excited about it. I asked her if he would like to go with Rick. She said YEAH! So I called Rick and asked him if he cared if I gave my ticket to Matt. He said sure, and why not have him bring one of his boys. Tonight the boys talked and made all of the arrangements to drive over. Rick was so much more excited, because Matt was excited. It brought even more joy seeing these guys get so jazzed. Frankly I hate watching us lose to the Zags, and tomorrow is my book group. Now we are all happy.

What a great post. I loved your reflections and thoughts and EVERYTHING you said is so true. Especially about these specific people He brings in our lives just hand picked by Him to stir up our lives.
