Afternoon activities

Even though it is 20 something, and the wind is blowing, Soso had to go play outside. It must be the Scandinavian genes. He needs his outside time, so I let him go, even though I think it is entirely too cold to be outside. The only thing better than dirt for this little guy is snow. He can shovel it, haul it, pile it, slide on it, throw it, it isn't messy and Mom doesn't fuss at him for playing in it.

When he had had enough of the cold he came in, for food of course. Lucky for him this week is the 100th day of school. The kindergartners have a 100 day party. We counted out 100 m&ms. He preferred to do it by 5's. I made him count them all out before he put them in the bag to take to school. I love kindergarten. They have so much fun. It doesn't take all day to teach them what they need to know, and they get so excited when the realize that they are making progress. He did bring home a pink slip. Apparently he forgot to raise his hand before he let everybody know that he needed a pen. There is a lot to learn when you are five. And all this happens while Omega sleeps.
