Track season is now officially over. BK and Bronster had their last meet. It was a glorious day, very unlike last year. BK got second in the 800, 1600, medley relay, and 6th in the long jump. Bronster was also on the medley team, and got 12th in the 100 and 200. I got to man the high jump which was quite a learning experience. We went out to pizza afterwards, since I had neglected to get the crock pot going before I left this morning. It has been a long, eventful, wonderful, fun day.
I am thankful for sunshine, sunblock, good shoes, teenage girls that are still playful, communities where everyone seems to know each other, pizza, alarm clocks, friends with wonderful yards where my kids can play, friends that will watch my little kids, while I watch my big kids, Gretchen, Mrs. Jones, my son who loves to sing praises to God, especially in choir with his friends, electricity, Internet, fans, sunrise, and sunset.
