I'm packing bags, making dinner, blogging, getting ready to head over a few rivers and through a bunch of woods, to Children's Hospital. We will find out how Nesradine is responding to his new medicine. He seems to be fine with it so far. Martha has some extra tests, that I'm not even sure what they are. I will have some questions to ask.
Madie is riding along so that I have an extra driver. We have several people on the westside to visit. I can't wait to see my dear friend Andrea and her sweet kids. I have to pick up my doggie, who has been living with my mom. I'm sure he will be very sad to see her fly south for a chunk of the winter. It will be a quick trip and very full of things to do and people to see. I wish I could spread it out, but my family at home is anxious to have us back.
I just want to a say a quick thank you to all of you who have asked me some really great questions about our schooling choices. Thank you for being so very encouraging and sharing your wisdom with me. I also wanted to say, that I really didn't mean to imply that I would like you to keep your negative comments to yourself. I know that for every pro there is a corresponding con, the more of those that I can put on the prayer list the better, so don't hesitate to say, "ya, but..." I get that, and hopefully I have thought of a good portion of them.
It's a great day for a road trip, although it will be dark before we head off on the open road. The change of scene will be nice, I just hope it doesn't involve any wild adventures off road.
Today I am thankful for...
Brilliant blue skies above white glittery fields
Moisture turning to ice in the sunshine
Dear friends to celebrate with
Teachers who really, truly love my kids and work hard to help them learn
Making meals for friends
Sun puddles on the floor, warming my kitty
