I'm trying to savor the little moments with my older girls during this busy season. I know that this will likely be the last spring frenzy they will be under my roof. I am terrible at saying goodbye, so I just want to hold on to the little things they do every day that I know I will miss like crazy next year. Right now, Mads is sitting at the dining room table with her earbuds in humming and doing homework. Brook sat and asked me what I think she should do for the coming week since she will be on break from a couple of her classes. I had other things to do, but I intentionally sat and listened and helped her think it through. Little things, but they are what my life is all about.
